Auditions for DIAL M FOR MURDER at Ghostlight Theatre announced for August 24


Ghostlight is gearing up for their October show at Ghostlight Theatre, "Dial M for Murder". 

They have an open casting call happening at the theatre on Aug. 24. 

Please use this link to schedule your audition time. The show will run on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from Oct. 24 - Nov.3. 

What: Auditions will take place in 45-minute time slots and consist of cold readings from the script. Plan to arrive at least 10 minutes before your assigned time slot to fill out the audition form. 

Where: Ghostlight Theatre, 13541 West Camino Del Sol, Sun City West, AZ 85375.

Call backs will take place by invitation only on Sunday, Sept. 1 at the same location.

Dial M for Murder

Tony Wendice, who married his wife Margot for her money, now plans to murder her for the same reason. The night of the planned attack, in a thrilling surprise twist, the plan goes awry. How will this end?

Character Breakdown

Margot: Female. 25 - 40. British. Margot is fun-loving, naive and optimistic, to her detriment. She is caring and trusting and believes people a little too readily. Born to money and married to Tony.

Tony: Male. 30s/40s. British. A former professional tennis player. He is a true gentleman, and is never shaken or perturbed. Very good at thinking on his feet, he is cold, selfish and calculating, while giving off the demeanor of warmth and friendliness.

Max: Male. 25 - late 30s. American. A murder mystery writer for television. A genuine good guy. He has a real sense of playfulness and innocence about him, but he is not shy about fighting for what he thinks is right.

Hubbard: Male. 35+. British. The Chief Inspector, Hubbard is immediately able to tell that not everything is as it seems with the case. He is eccentric but calm and professional, a true British gentleman.

Captain Lesgate: Male. 30s/40s. British. Lesgate is a convicted criminal and former classmate of Tony's at Cambridge. Lesgate's attempts to be suave and debonair are thwarted by his nervous and jittery demeanor.

Thompson: Male. Any age. British. A police constable working with Hubbard. Will double as offstage voices and other parts.
