Play Synopsis: In this modern-day fairy tale, Princess Megan is told that her father, the King, has planned a contest to determine whom she will marry and whom will take control of the kingdom. Intent on con-trolling her own destiny, she enters the contest disguised as a man, determined to win!

AVAILABLE ROLES– 3 Female Identifying and 4 Male Identifying PVCC Theatre’s casting is open to include every race, culture, age, gender, sexual orientation and physicality.

PRINCESS MEGAN: The heroine, a spunky princess who doesn’t wait for Prince Charming to save her. She wants control of her destiny and is determined to get it.

AUNT ASSERTA — Princess Megan’s aunt, does all the talking for her and her sister, Echo. Her name says it all.

AUNT ECHO — Princess Megan’s aunt, echoes everything Asserta says. She is shy and sweet, but willing to speak her mind to help her beloved niece.

LORD SYLVESTER -— Princess Megan’s cousin and the villain, he will do anything to win the contest. To him, it’s no fun winning fairly, he must plot and scheme.

CLYDE -— Lord Sylvester’s manservant and his unwilling accomplice. He can see the children and helps them foil his master’s plans.

LORD CHANCELLOR -— The official in charge of the contest, he is grumpily disapproving of the strange happenings.

PRINCE ALEXANDER - The hero, he epitomizes all that is good and noble.

Play Synopsis: Between the Lines is an empowering and enchanting new musical for any of us seeking to find our place in the world. An outsider in a new school, Delilah seeks comfort in the pages of her favorite book, where she feels heard and understood. But as the lines between the two worlds of reality and fantasy begin to blur in extraordinary and astonishing ways, Delilah has to confront whether she alone has the power to rewrite her own story.

AVAILABLE ROLES– some roles may be doubled

Delilah- Smart, well read. Upended by her parents’ bitter divorce, to escape, she turns to books.

Prince Oliver- A classic fairytale prince, charming, sincere, and smart. Oliver wishes for the freedom to live beyond the confines of the story that has been written for him.

Grace- Delilah’s mother; after 17 years of being a stay-at-home mom with dreams of completing her nursing degree, Grace finds herself the sole breadwinner and parent.

Queen Maureen -Queen Maureen is Prince Oliver’s fairytale mother. When the book is closed, she is the martini-swigging queen of snark.

Allie McAndrews: school’s resident queen bee who is a smart, entitled, “mean girl.”

Princess Seraphima: the quintessential princess; beautiful, eloquent. However once the book is closed, she is the exact op-posite: not very bright and self-absorbed.

Jules: Strong and confident, Jules is the living embodiment of “live the story you want if it’s not the story you’re in.”

Ryan: jock boyfriend of Allie McAndrews, a dude’s dude.

Frump: Prince Oliver’s best friend who is half-dog due to a curse placed on him by the evil Rapskullio earlier in the fairy tale book. Hopelessly in love with Princess Seraphima.

Janice: Allie’s ditzy right hand gal.

Marina/Kyrie/Ondine/ Fairy: When the book is being read, the mermaids are obsessed with men, however once the book is closed they become staunch feminists.

Martin: A teen internet troll who bullies Delilah through social media posts and is part of Allie McAndrews’ tribe.

Troll: when the fairy tale is being read the Troll is a grunting, monosyllabic monster; when the book is closed, he is an Oliv-ier-esque actor’s actor.

Ms. Winx: school librarian who happens to have a longstanding literary crush on Mr. Darcy from Pride and Prejudice; sas-sy, strong, knows exactly who she is.

Jessamyn: the author of the fairy tale book Delilah is obsessed with and a widowed mother of a teenage boy; she’s kooky, a bit scattered and off beat, but smart and intuitive.

Mrs. Brown: a biology teacher who is obsessed with self-tanning, teeth whitening, and vacationing in the Caribbean.

Dr. Ducharme: school social worker. He’s a quirky, socially awkward, nebbish sort of fellow.

Rapskullio: a classic evil villain, but when the book is closed he is the exact opposite: ultra-sensitive, good-hearted, and in touch with his feelings.

THE CURSE OF THE NUGGET

Written and Directed by Leonel Lopez

Two friends head out into town for a celebration when they are visited by a blind dweller who reveals their fortunes to come! Tag along with Lucious Lust and Henry Humble as their journey turns into an outrageous night with hard truths and a misadventure.

JACK OF LEGEND 

Written by Zeke Luckey | Directed by Sebastian Stallone  

The story follows the character of "Jack", from various Olde Irish myths, tales, and rhymes as he reveals through telling his life story on what is implied to be the River Styx. Jack's story begins with him at a young age becoming a self-managed traveling performer (Jack Be Nimble). Having gained slight notoriety for his cunning, Hades, appears to make him a deal. Jack eventually wishes to have talent in every field (Jack of All Trades). It's through this title he meets Jill (Jack and Jill) who he falls in love with and spends the rest of her life with. Once she passes, he turns cold and callous, bringing a chill with him wherever he goes (Jack Frost). When Hades returns to collect his soul, he tricks him into banning Jack from the afterlife (Stingy Jack), leaving him to walk the earth as a vision-impaired wraith (Jack O' Lantern).

Little Women

Little Women is based on a coming-of-age novel written by American novelist Louisa May Alcott. It has become a classic and has numerous movie and play adaptations based on it.  The story follows the lives of the four March sisters—Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy—and details their passage from childhood to womanhood. Loosely based on the lives of the author and her three sisters,  it is classified as an autobiographical or semi-autobiographical story.

Play Synopsis: Louisa May Alcott’s classic novel Little Women comes to life in Thomas Hischak’s stage adaptation, in which the March daughters—Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy— face triumph and trage-dy as they grow up, fall in love, and make their way during the Civil War era. This warm, touching, and crowd-pleasing American tale showcases the strength and courage of young women and the men who love and respect them. A narrator, Josephine (Jo) Marsh, gives background information to tie the scenes together. Jo, of course, is Louisa May Alcott. The four March daughters continue to live in the hearts of readers, and will touch the heart of every person in the audience.
