Two Acts – Approximate Run Time 2.5 hours

When Ren McCormack and his mother move from Chicago to the small town of Bomont, Ren expects the usual challenges of fitting into a new high school. What he doesn’t expect is a town where dancing and rock music have been banned by the local preacher, Reverend Shaw Moore, following a tragic accident that deeply affected the community.

As Ren struggles against the strict rules and conservative attitudes of Bomont, he forms friendships with fellow students and becomes drawn to the preacher’s rebellious daughter, Ariel. Tensions rise when Ren challenges the town’s ban on dancing and encourages the community to heal rather than live in fear.

Filled with high-energy dance numbers and hit songs including “Footloose,” “Holding Out for a Hero,” and “Let’s Hear It for the Boy,” the musical celebrates youth, forgiveness, and the importance of listening to one another
