Frederic, who has spent his formative years as a junior pirate, plans to mark his 21st birthday by breaking free from the Pirate King and begin his courtship of Mabel. But because he was born on Feb.29, a date that only arrives every four years, Frederic isn't technically 21, and the Pirate King is still his master. Frederic will soon be on a collision course with the Pirate King's new nemesis: Mabel's father.

Annie Oakley is a poor, but spirited and happy, country girl who lives by her native sharp-shooting quickly makes her the star of Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show where she meets and falls in love with expert rifleman Frank Butler. Unfortunately, the tough, outspoken Annie is not Frank's idea of what a wife should be and the two remain at competitive odds. Then Annie is initiated into an Indian tribe whose Chief, Sitting Bull, gives her some advice: only by deliberately, but discreetly, losing a shooting contest can she win Frank.

The tension escalates as the survivors realize the killer is not only among them but is preparing to strike again… and again...

STEEL MAGNOLIAS - Desert Foothills Theater - March 27, 2020 - April 5, 2020

M'Lynn is the mother of bride-to-be Shelby, and as friend Truvy fixes the women's hair for the ceremony, they welcome a helping hand from aspiring beautician Annelle. Diabetic Shelby has a health scare, which is averted but doesn't bode well for her hopes of having children. Time passes, and the women and their friends encounter tragedy and good fortune, growing stronger and closer in the process.

At the behest of John the Baptist, young men and women forsake their jobs and take up the mantle of Jesus Christ - becoming his disciples - in  a musical retelling of the Gospel of Matthew set in a modern-day big city. Using song and dance, the apostles traverse the city, spreading Christ's message of love and tolerance as the time moves ever closer to his betrayal at the hands of Judas and, ultimately, his crucifixion.
