"Nicholas Walker Herbert's Megalodon, which is having its world premiere at Ronin Theatre Collaborative, proves that theatre with a small cast and an even smaller budget can generate just as much intrigue and intimacy as any big-budget production. Blending dark humor, psychological drama, uncertainty, and moments of genuine tension, the play keeps audiences engaged while exploring themes of grief, obsession, loneliness, and guilt. Herbert crafts a character-driven work that gradually reveals its emotional depth. While there is some ambiguity, the talented cast and assured direction, along with the succinct script, make for an absorbing evening of thought-provoking theatre."
