by Drew Ignatowski, winner of EVCT's annual playwriting contest.
The eternal moon has been stolen from the night sky by two clever, greedy magicians. A woodland prince leaves his home to return the moon to its rightful place in the heavens before the false red moon rises. Along the way he meets a princess of a different leaf, her best friend, and a kingdom soaked in carnival celebration. The prince is running out of time and he must find the child who fell from the stars before it is too late, for if the red moon rises, the world will freeze over into a land without change. This wonderful new play for kids of all ages is not to be missed!

ARYA'S ROCK: A VIDEO GAME ADVENTURE, East Valley Children's Theatre, June 18 - Sunday, June 28, 2015
By Mark Smolyar
Living a life that is ruled by video games, Jacob is not too far from your average teenager. But what happens when he gets thrown into the world of one of these video games? Follow the journey of a boy who is transported into the realm of Arya's Rock, a world where unrest is seeping through every beach, forest, and island. Follow Jacob, (or is it Osa, the hero of the land that legends speak of), as he joins a group of travelers and journeys through villages and towns big and small, strange and stranger, until he finally finds the all-powerful gem known as Arya's Rock.
Don’t miss this fantastic ride through the world of video games and special effects which will entertain kids and adults alike!
