CAMELOT - Theatre West - March 12-24, 2024

The legendary love triangle of King Arthur, Guenevere and Sir Lancelot leaps from the pages of T.H. White’s novel in Lerner and Loewe’s award-winning, soaring musical.

Borrowing from the Arthurian legends, Lerner and Loewe’s Camelot is the duo’s fantastical masterpiece which triumphed on Broadway in a legendary original production that lead to a film version, and numerous revivals in New York, London and across the globe. Its Original Broadway Cast Album topped the charts  for 60 weeks, with a rich score boasting such gems  as "If Ever I Would Leave You," “I Loved You Once in Silence,” "The Lusty Month of May," and of course, "Camelot."

An idealistic young King Arthur hopes to create a kingdom built on honor and dignity, embodied by his Knights of The Round Table.  His Ideals, however are tested when his lovely queen, Guenevere, falls in love with the young Knight, Lancelot and the fate of the kingdom hangs in the balance.

YES, VIRGINIA, THERE IS A SANTA CLAUS - Theatre West - November 24-26, 2023

Theatre West is delighted to announce its upcoming holiday production of "Yes, Virginia, There Is a Santa Claus" by Jamie Gorski, presented in the unique format of a radio play and directed by Tia Wooley. This heartwarming and timeless tale of faith and the magic of Christmas will be brought to life on stage at the Stardust Theatre.

"Yes, Virginia, There Is a Santa Claus" is a beloved story that captures the essence of the holiday spirit. It tells the tale of Virginia O'Hanlon, a young girl who writes a letter to the New York Sun newspaper in 1897, questioning the existence of Santa Claus. The newspaper's response, penned by Francis P. Church, has since become one of the most famous editorials in journalism history.

But that's not all. In the spirit of giving, Theatre West is partnering with Valley View Community Food Bank to host a food drive during the run of the show. We invite all patrons to bring non-perishable food items to donate when attending the performances. Let's come together as a community to make this holiday season a little brighter for those in need.

BUS STOP - Theatre West - October 17- October 29, 2023

By William Inge

In the middle of a howling snowstorm, a bus out of Kansas City pulls up at a cheerful roadside diner. All roads are blocked, and four or five weary travelers are going to have to hole up until morning. Cherie, a nightclub chanteuse in a sparkling gown and a seedy fur-trimmed jacket, is the passenger with most to worry about. She’s been pursued, made love to and finally kidnapped by a twenty-one-year-old cowboy with a ranch of his own and the romantic methods of an unusually headstrong bull. The belligerent cowhand is right behind her, ready to sling her over his shoulder and carry her, alive and kicking, all the way to Montana. Even as she’s ducking out from under his clumsy but confident embraces, and screeching at him fiercely to shut him up, she pauses to furrow her forehead and muse, “Somehow deep inside of me I got a funny feeling I’m gonna end up in Montana …” As a counterpoint to the main romance, the proprietor of the cafe and the bus driver at last find time to develop a friendship of their own; a middle-age scholar comes to terms with himself; and a young girl who works in the cafe also gets her first taste of romance.
