BARE - Nearly Naked Theatre - May 26 - June 17, 2017

Music and Book by Damon Intrabartolo
Lyrics and Book by Jon Hartmere

directed by Damon Dering
music direction by Curtis Moeller

AM I A SAVIOR OR A PHASE? A group of high school seniors at a Catholic boarding school faces issues of sexuality and personal identity. As they struggle to come to terms with who they are, and who the world thinks they should be, they seek answers from their Church, their friends, and ultimately, from within themselves.

As God’s path seems more difficult to find than ever, bare rings with the sounds of youthful repression and revolt; with a unique sung-through pop score, heart-pounding lyrics, and a cast of bright young characters, bare is a provocative, fresh, and utterly honest look at the dangers of baring your soul, and the consequences of continuing to hide.

bare is recommended for mature audiences only: containing mature themes and language, religious themes and brief nudity.

IN THE GARDEN - Nearly Naked Theatre - March 24 - April 15, 2017

by Norman Allen

SEDUCTION IS AS SEDUCTION DOES

The lives of four urban sophisticates are rocked by the arrival of a young man, who is everything but what he seems. With unworldly charisma, this handsome young man constructs a web of seduction and theology grounded in the lessons of the New Testament. A professor of philosophy, his fashionista wife, and their glib young friends must rise to the boy's erotic and spiritual challenge, questioning their lives as they question his very identity. With high comedy and thought-provoking drama, In the Garden blends sexual conventions, high fashion, Nietzsche and Christ in an uber-theatrical rollercoaster ride.

3C - Nearly Naked Theatre - September 2 - 24, 2016

COME & KNOCK ON OUR (BACK) DOOR

Brad ends up in Connie & Linda’s kitchen after the Vietnam war and the three strike up an odd living arrangement (for the 70s) that has hilarious and devastating consequences... for EVERYONE. Inspired by “A Certain 70s Sitcom,” 1950s existential comedy, Chekov and even Disco anthems, 3C is a terrifying yet amusing look at a culture that likes to amuse itself, even as it teeters on the brink of ruin. It’s like Three’s Company if it were produced by HBO. On Acid. With PTSD.

~intended for mature audiences with very immature tastes! This VERY DARK satire contains strong language, mature themes, sexual situations, ridiculous sitcom moments where people confuse one thing for something else, 70s disco music and nudity~

Linda..... Tallie Hartley
Connie... Alexia Lorch
Brad....... Clayton Westbrook
Terry...... Aaron Blanco
Mrs. Wicker... Janis Ash Webb
