Cast announced for CLASS at Arizona Frontline Theatre

Greg Lutz and Ia Feraren

 

Ia Feraren has served in the United States Marine Corps as a Wrecker Operator from 2011-2015 (active duty) and did two more years in the reserves. She began her acting journey in 2023, as a part of her post-service recovery. She started taking classes at Arizona Actors Academy, fell in love with the arts and she’s now been featured in live performances by Theatre Upstairs (AZAA), ASU Kerr, as well as short films directed by Scottsdale Community College Film Students. She is thrilled to be a part of Arizona Frontline Theatre’s 2026-2027 season. Ia understands first hand the healing power of performance art for veterans and civilians alike, and is grateful to share this with her audiences.

Greg Lutz is native Arizonan and has been on the Phoenix stages for 40 plus years. He served In the Navy as an intercommunications E2 on board the 640 class submarine, USS George Washington Carver, until he changed ratings to Hospital Corpsman where he served as a field medic with the Marine Corps. Greg served from 1982 through 1986 and then spent 8 years in the reserves and reached rank of E6.  Greg’s last appearance on stage was as Max Bialystock in Mel Brooks’ “The Producers”.  Greg has appeared in Television series such as “Beverly Hills 90210”, Knotts Landing”, “Wonder Years”, “Big Sky”, “Dark Winds” and “Walker Independence”. Some of his film credits include; “Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure”, “HIM”, “Rust”, “Flamin’ Hot”, “Shark Thrash” and “The Miss OTB Scandal”.   Greg is currently the owner and artistic director of Arizona’s premiere murder mystery Dinner Theatre Company, “Murder Ink Productions” which has been entertaining the valley since 1989.  Greg also tours the world as his alter-ego, 1970’s Lounge Singer/Codediam “Jackie Fontae”. Greg is represented by FORD/RBA Talent agency.
