"The musical comedy The Prom may not have had a lengthy Broadway run but it's found a second life at regional theatre companies; I've seen four productions in town over the past three years and there have been many others in Phoenix as well. It's a bright and winning comedy, with a big heart, so it's understandable why it's been produced by so many companies. The current Arizona Broadway Theatre production features astute direction and wonderful performances from many company veterans who have, collectively, appeared in dozens of shows at the Peoria theatre company over the years.
