Auditions for THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL at Valley Youth Theatre announced for April 11 & 12


Auditions: April 11 & 12, 2023 @ 4pm at Valley Youth Theatre (doors open at 3:30pm)
 
Rehearsals: Approximate rehearsal dates are April 25 – June 8, 2023 , Monday through Thursday evenings and Saturdays. Before tech, evening rehearsals will be 5p - 9p; tech rehearsals will be potentially until 10pm.
 
Performances: June 9 - 25, 2023 at Herberger Theater Center with several weekday matinees for schools in addition to the traditional evening and weekend performances.

Synopsis:
Plunge into this stunning all-singing, all-dancing, dynamic stage show! When the citizens of Bikini Bottom discover that a volcano will soon erupt and destroy their humble home, SpongeBob and his friends must come together to save the fate of their undersea world. With lives hanging in the balance and all hope lost, a most unexpected hero rises up. The power of optimism really can save the world!

Please prepare:
 
1.) A song that will show off your voice and is appropriate for you and the character you are auditioning for. Please bring sheet music -- accompanist will be provided.
2.) A headshot. It doesn't have to be professional. Just a good photo that looks like you!
3.) An acting or theatre resume.
