Auditions for 9 to 5 at Mesa Encore Theatre announced for March 27



Mesa Encore Theatre is pleased to announce 9 to 5 auditions. 

Music and Lyrics by Dolly Pardon, Book by Patricia Resnick. 

Auditions are March 27th and callbacks are March 28th in the evenings. 
Rehearsals begin April 3rd. The show will run May 19- June 4, 2023. 

Director: Trisha Ditsworth, Musical Director: Cathy Hauan, Choreographer: Ashley Bauer Webb and Assistant Director: Marina Blue Jarrette. 


Mesa Encore Theatre encourages all bodies and abilities to audition. If you are not available on these dates and still want to be considered, please reach out to Artistic Director Taylor Moschetti artisticdirector@mesaencoretheatre.com 

Physical headshot and resume are not required, but accepted. You may email headshot/resume to the director prior to auditions or bring it with you.(trishaditsworth@yahoo.com)

Please prepare a 1 minute song that shows off your voice. If possible, in the style of the show. Bring sheet music in the correct key, accompanist is provided. OR if you prefer to sing with a track, you may. Please bring your own device.

Callbacks will be held March 28th, from 7PM-10PM. Please be prepared to stay the entire time or let us know if you are not available for the callback during your audition.

Rehearsals begin April 3rd. Rehearsals are Monday through Thursday evenings from 6-10pm, and Saturdays from 12-4pm. Cast will not be called to every rehearsal, or every single hour of rehearsal. Tech will be May 14 or 15 (TBD). Tech and Dress Rehearsals May 15, 16, 17, 18. Rehearsals will be held at 1350 S. Longmore Mesa, AZ 85202. Performances are May 19-Jun 4 at the Mesa Arts Center in the Nesbitt/Elliott Playhouse.

COVID PROTOCOLS - MET requires all actors, creatives, and staff to be fully vaccinated, and provide a copy of their vaccination cards before rehearsals begin. A covid agreement will be signed by all involved with the production. Testing and mask guidelines will be provided to all who are cast in this production.
