Arizona Broadway Theatre is excited to announce auditions for upcoming productions for YOUTH PERFORMERS (Ages 8 – 13) on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, starting at 5:00pm.
There will be a callback by invitation only on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, beginning at 5:00pm as well.
Due to the specific nature of these auditions, please read all the dates and information below:
All youth roles will be double cast; each performer is responsible for approx. 4 shows per week.
All youth performers must be 8-13 years old and between 4ft and 4ft 10 inches (48” – 58”).
All youth performers must have availability Tuesday-Sunday throughout the process.
All youth roles are paid.
NEWSIES: Rehearsals begin September 19, 2025. Runs October 4 – November 1, 2025
Specifically seeking:
LES - Davey’s fearless younger brother; intuitive salesboy and pint-sized charmer.
A CHRISTMAS STORY: Rehearsals begin October 6, 2025. Runs November 15 – December 28, 2025.
Specifically seeking:
RALPHIE – Cute and bright; a regular kid-next-door type; a bit mischievous but with a twinkle in his eye.
RANDY – Ralphie’s younger brother; seems opposed to everything, but still lovable; not a brat.
YOUTH ENSEMBLE – Various classmates and kids in town; includes Schwartz, Flick, Esther Jane, Mary Beth, Scut Farkas, and Grover Dill.
Youth Performers should bring with them a headshot (or recent photo) and a resume (if available) but will not need to prepare anything else in advance. All material including songs and a short dance will be taught upon arrival.

Tuesday, August 12, 2025, from 5:00p – 9:00p (you will not be needed the entire time)
