Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, childhood friends of Prince Hamlet, are summoned to the Danish court to uncover the cause of Hamlet’s strange behavior. As they struggle to understand their roles and the events around them, they find themselves caught in a confusing and absurd world where fate, free will, and identity blur. The pair often engage in witty, existential conversations as they await instructions, stumble through fragments of the Hamlet plot, and encounter a troupe of actors led by the enigmatic Player.
