Auditions for the FIRST FESTIVAL OF FEMINIST THEATER at B3 Theater announced for December 1 & 2


B3 Theater, Inc., is auditioning for their First Festival of Feminist Theater.  Auditions will be December 1st and December 2nd over zoom, and all are encouraged to try out. Performances are located at Scottsdale Neighborhood Arts Place (SNAP) on January 19th, 20th, 26th, and 27th.

Our festival consists of 10 Short Plays about Feminism ranging from comedy to drama to sci-fi!

Goodbye My Girls – A woman says goodbye before a mastectomy
Melody – An activist helps a pregnant woman who shows up at her door
Shall We Dance? – Two dancers have a tense discussion
Blood – A black woman donating her blood faces uncomfortable questions
Blessed Fruit – A futuristic doctor who preserves unwanted embryos is held at gunpoint
Carhenge – A single parent tries to connect with her kids on a road trip
Juliet Wakes Up – Based on Romeo and Juliet, Juliet survives and realizes her mistake
Body Horror – Two Catholic teens discuss the “ecstasy of Christ”
Witch Queen – Snow White confronts her mother
LMK – Based on Lysistrata, two women discuss unsolicited pictures

We are looking for all types of folks, all ages, genders, looks, and ethnicities!
