“One of the most enduring shows of all time, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is a reimagining of the Biblical story of Joseph, his father Jacob, eleven brothers and the coat of many colors.” - Concord Theatricals
From “pop cantata” to popular Broadway musical, this timeless classic features music by Andrew Lloyd Webber (The Phantom of the Opera, Cats) and lyrics by Tim Rice (The Lion King, Aida). Nominated for 10 Tony Awards, Joseph originally debuted in 1972 and has seen tremendous acclaim, including multiple global tours & revivals, commercial recordings, and even a direct-to-video film starring Donny Osmond.
AZMTO takes a giant step forward in this 2024 rendition by eliminating its participant fees! All applications will have an audition-based component, and selected members will be chosen to participate in this benefit concert at Congregation Beth Israel. Founder Stephen Schermitzler returns to the podium for this vibrant performance!
