Auditions for Always Plenty of Light at the Starlight All-Night Diner will take place on November 10 from 6PM-8PM & November 11 from 10AM-12PM.
They will be held at our rehearsal space located at 1350 S. Longmore Mesa, AZ 85202— in the strip mall directly to the left of the Auction House. Directions may take you to the flower shop in the center of the plaza, but we are located behind the flower shop in the center of the actual strip mall.
Auditioners should prepare a 60 second comedic monologue of their choice. Headshots and resumes are welcomed but not required. If you choose to submit a headshot/resume, please email them in lieu of a physical copy to artisticdirector@mesaencoretheatre.com
Callbacks will take place November 13 from 6PM-9PM.
ROLES:
Sam (Late 30s, Non-Binary) Overnight janitor at the Starlight. Very observant, hard on the outside but a real softie on the inside. Totally and hopelessly in love with Jessa.
Jessa (Early to mid 30s, Female) Late-shift waitress at the Starlight. Attentive, Very Pregnant and very confused about her dopey husband, Johnny
Dr. Franklin Moxie PHD (older than Time, M) Time travel enthusiast, Eccentric weirdo! Adorable Savant!
DANNI (early 20s, Non-Binary) Dr. Moxie’s grad assistant. Baseball fan and TOTAL dino buff.
