Disney Freaky Friday
September 23-25

Freaky Friday music and lyrics by Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey.

When an overworked mother and her teenage daughter magically swap bodies, they have just one day to put things right again. By spending the day in each other’s shoes, Katherine and Ellie come to appreciate on another’s struggles, learn self-acceptance, and realize the immeasurable love and mutual respect that bond a mother and daughter.

Mel Brooks Musical Young Frankenstein

AFTC is reviving (pun intended) our first big musical production from 2014!  It’s alive.  The electrifying adaptation of Mel Brook’s monstrously funny film will leave you in stitches.

The Pajama Game
May 20-22
Book by George Abbott and Richard Bissell
Music and Lyrics by Jerry Ross and Richard Adler

A union strike at a pajama factory generates plenty of steam heat in this toe-tapping, comedic love story. 


Auditions:
For consideration, submit a 1-minute comedic monologue and an up-tempo song by Friday, June 17, 2022, via WeTransfer to info@almostfamoustheater.com.
