Childsplay announces their 2015 / 2016 Season!



SIDEWAYS STORIES FROM WAYSIDE SCHOOL

In this wacky world, life lessons come flying from every angle! Based on Louis Sachar’s beloved children's books, Sideways Stories from Wayside School brings to life an elementary school thirty stories high where the oddest things can happen. Wicked teachers turn students to apples. Pigtails become snakes. And somewhere in the building, we know there is a wandering cow. This hilarious, fun-filled ride will start the school year with learning and laughter! 

THE SMARTEST GIRL IN THE WORLD

Imagine alongside the kittens and mittens, the bears and the chairs, the red balloon, and of course the moon! Make your own memories in this musical version of the delightful tale.  

PETE, OR THE RETURN OF PETER PAN

Peter Pan and Wendy return like you’ve never seen them before! Wendy has grown up hearing stories from her grandmother about her childhood adventures in Neverland. She never really believed them until Peter Pan arrives with fairy dust and she and her brother find themselves in the greatest adventures of their lives! Not content to sit and clean house, Wendy jumps into a world of pirates, fairies, ninjas and pterodactyls finding out firsthand what it really means to believe. This magical new play will be founder David Saar’s last production as Childsplay’s Artistic Director. Written by incoming Artistic Director, Dwayne Hartford, this story will look back on Childsplay’s legacy and look forward to a new and brilliant future.
