16-32 bars of a song that best shows off their voice. (Bring sheet music in appropriate key. No CD’s) Dress to move for dance audition. Headshot and resume if available. List of possible rehearsal conflicts. Singing from the script and additional dancing will take place at callbacks if necessary.
A miserly and miserable man, Ebenezer Scrooge greets each Christmas with a “bah humbug,” until he is visited one Christmas Eve by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Christmas Present and Christmas Future. Through a restless night, the spirits show him happy memories from his past, cruel realities from the present and the grim future should he continue his cantankerous ways. With a new musical adaptation by Fountain Hills Theater’s Artistic Director, Peter J. Hill, Scrooge’s story of redemption remains as powerful and uplifting as it ever was. Working closely with Dicken’s original text, Peter J. Hill has crafted a new musical for the stage that has taken the spirit of the season, wrapped it in beautiful original melodies and tied it with all the holiday magic and wonder of your childhood.
