Video Audition Submissions due by August 9th for THE LITTLE PRINCESS SARA CREWE at Fountain Hills Youth Theater



 Video submissions due by Friday, August 9th.  

Looking for youth 8-19 to fill the roles below (there is some doubling)

Submit a short monologue, poem, and 16 bars of a song or some scales and /or arpeggios to check range.

The characters are :
Ram-Das-  (M) A Lascar; a Sikh man servant
Dushta Babu - (M/F) (Mischievous Child) Ram-Das’ monkey (a key player!)
Sara-  (F) A young girl
Mother- (F) A storyteller!  Sara’s mother          
Anya-  (F) Sara’s Indian nanny.                                          
Captain Ralph Crewe- (M) Sara’s father
Miss Maria Minchin- (F)Proprietress of “Miss Minchin’s Select Seminary for Young Ladies”
Amelia Minchin- (F) Her Sister
Mister Barrow- (M)A Solicitor; Partner in Skipworth and Barrow Solicitors/ will double
Becky-    (F) A Scullery Maid and Sara’s friend.
Monsieur Dufarge-  (M) The French Instructor at the Seminary
Mariette-  (F) Sara’s Personal Maid
Lavinia Herbert-  (F) A Student at the Seminary
Jessie- (F) Lavinia’s Friend
Lottie Legh- (F) The youngest girl at the seminary.  Prone to prolonged temper tantrums!
Ermengarde St. John-(F) Sara’s friend at the Seminary
Mister Thomas Carrisford-(M) Ralph Crewe’s friend
Mister Alan Carmichael-  (M) Solicitor for Mr. Carrisford. Father of the “Large Family”
Mrs. Jane Carmichael- (F) Mother of the “Large Family”
Janet, Nora, and Donald-Three children of Mr. Carmichael- (Lydia and Imogene in the classroom.)
Anne- (F)  A street urchin- (Felicity in the classroom)
Mrs. Benson-  (F) A bakery shop owner
 Various Extra Students and
Street People
