Tonight, Black Theatre Troupe will receive “The August Wilson American Century Cycle Award.”
The award celebrates those theaters that have staged all 10 plays in the American Century Cycle (also known as The Pittsburgh Cycle).
Founded and administered by Pittsburgh Post-Gazette senior theater critic Christopher Rawson, the award is presented by the Post-Gazette with the collaboration of August Wilson House and support of Constanza Romero Wilson and the August Wilson Legacy LLC.
