Hale Centre Theatre will hold auditions for 42nd Street, playing February 16th - April 1st, 2023. The show is directed and choreographed by Cambrian James with music direction by Cathy Hauan. Performances are Wednesday – Saturday with select Friday and Saturday matinee performances.
In person auditions are on November 5th.Video submissions are also being accepted and are due by November 5th at 12 PM.
Auditions are open to all and we extend an invitation for all races and ethnicities to submit. Posted ages are guidelines only.
The stakes are high when a young chorus girl from Allentown, PA is given the once-in-a-lifetime chance to become a star. 42nd Street recalls the classic days of Broadway and the golden age of movie musicals with sensational tap numbers, lavish costumes, and one show-stopping tune after another.
