Arizona Opera seeks local actors for non-speaking bit parts in their production of TOSCA


What: Arizona Opera is seeking local actors ages 18 and up to play non-speaking Supernumerary bit parts in their upcoming production of Tosca.  Supernumerary roles include nuns, priests, executioner, henchmen, Swiss Army guards.  

Interested candidates should please send a headshot and resume with relevant theater/music experience to the Arizona Opera contact listed.

When:

Rehearsals begin December 30, 2022 and through January 18, 2023
Performances are January 20, 21, 22 in Phoenix, and January 28 & 29 in Tucson
All rehearsals and performances for Supernumeraries take place on weekday evenings, or on weekend days/nights.

Compensation: Honorarium for participation provided. Please contact Aaron Grant and Zack Hayhurst for compensation details.  Arizona Opera also provides housing accommodations in Tucson for the final performance weekend, and a mileage stipend.
