Fountain Hills Youth Theater Performing Arts Classes & Camps 2022
Fountain Hills Youth Theater is excited to announce its Spring line-up of after-school, holiday and Spring Break performing arts classes. Debby Rosenthal, the new Director of Education, is offering a wide variety of classes for ages ranging from 6 to adult.
Classes will include 6-week, 8-week, one-day Holiday and Spring Break classes for ages 6 through adult beginning January 10th. The 6-week session, Lights! Camera! Action! Acting for Commercial, TV & Film, will teach the magical form of on-camera acting. This session is offered in 3 time slots for ages 8-13, 14-18 and adults. The 8-week session, offers two classes; Centerstage: Working Your Solo - students develop a repertoire of solos perfect for auditions, with a performance on the last day of class, and Disney Showcase - students sing, act and dance to popular songs from Disney shows and perform in a live musical presentation on the final day.
MLK Day (Jan. 17th) and Presidents Day (Feb. 21). School's out for the day! Have a blast singing Disney and Broadway songs, dancing & playing theatre games all day long! 9AM to 3PM for ages 6 -13.
Finally, Spring Break Camp will be held Monday through Friday, March 14-18 from 10AM to 4PM for ages 6-13. Students will rehearse to put on the hilarious award-winning musical, “We are the Monsters!”
Arts Education Director, Debby Rosenthal, has taught in the Valley for over 20 years and is an accomplished equity actress, who has starred both in film and on stage.
