"Based on his play Legends Of: The Werewolf, Beau Heckman is clearly a big fan of the classic 1970s TV show "In Search Of ...,"...Heckman has appeared in more than a dozen plays at Southwest Shakespeare Company and he makes his playwriting debut with the company with this mostly one-man piece that traces the history of werewolves. While there are a few small shortcomings, it is very fun and entertaining and makes for a nice spooky show for the Halloween season...Heckman is a skilled actor and his work here is very good. As he tells the stories he becomes the various characters in them, with the keen use of accents and different body postures.
