When Dr. Jekyll sensed a darkness in his own psyche, he feared that he would end his days locked up in a madhouse like his father. So, he used his brilliant mind to create a compound that would neatly cut out his dark side - but he succeeded in a way he never imagined. Instead of killing his dark side, he turned his dark side into a completely separate person - Mr. Hyde! Hyde is unfettered by social mores. If he wants something he takes it, whether it be a woman, a drug, or a life. At first, Jekyll envies Hyde’s freedom, but, as the body count rises, he eventually realizes that Hyde threatens those he loves - including the lovely Miriam Hobart. How can Jekyll get Hyde under control when Hyde is growing stronger? How can he stop Hyde from winning the battle between them when Hyde is free to take any action, no matter how depraved? With Miriam’s life hanging in the balance, Jekyll must make a horrifying choice...
