Vanessa Williams is one of the most respected and multi-faceted performers in entertainment today. She has conquered the musical charts, Broadway, music videos, television and motion pictures. Williams has sold more than 4 million albums worldwide, and her skills as an actress on stage, in film and on television have earned widespread critical praise, including a Golden Globe, a Grammy and an Oscar for “Best Original Song” for her Platinum single “Colors of the Wind” from the Disney film Pocahontas. In 1994, Vanessa took Broadway by storm when she replaced Chita Rivera in Kiss of the Spider Woman, and was nominated for a Tony Award for her performance as the Witch in the revival of Into the Woods.  In 2013, she starred as Jessie Mae Watts in the Tony nominated play, The Trip to Bountiful.

Mark Cortale’s Broadway @ Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts series showcases some of Broadway’s brightest stars in the Center’s intimate Virginia G. Piper Theater. Hosted by multi-talented pianist and comedian Seth Rudetsky, these cabaret-style concerts mix popular song with candid showbiz stories.

Seth Rudetsky is the afternoon host on Sirius/XM Satellite Radio’s On Broadway as well as the host of Seth Speaks on SiriusXM Stars. He has played piano for more than a dozen Broadway shows, including Ragtime, Les Misérables and Phantom of the Opera, among many others.
