Show Synopsis:
Mary Shelly's Gothic horror story is brought to life by APP to create a theater going experience unlike anything you've seen before.
Puppets create a mood and a style that draws you in to the story of Victor and his crusade to defeat death. Along the way, he will abandon morals, values and his ethics to create a monster that will become his greatest enemy.
All Puppet Players meld their audience interaction, comedy and especially drama to bring an experience that is immersive, hilarious and beautiful.
Character Breakdown:
We are looking for up to three actors to join our show to play various characters.
What To Prepare:
You do not need to be a puppeteer. We will train everyone who is cast. We simply want the best actors who are comfortable working in a gorilla style theater company with improv and last second script changes. Because our shows require you to play multiple characters, plan on having four or five character voices. Accents, different gender, cartoon characters, nothing is out of bounds, simply looking for your range.
Some brief puppet work (again, not required that you be a puppeteer, we will train you)
Location:
Auditions will be held at PLAYHOUSE ON THE PARK in the CENTRAL ARTS PLAZA at 1850 N Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ. There will be signage directing you to the front door.
Parking:
There is a parking garage attached to the building on the West side. You can park in any VISITOR parking. Do NOT park in a RESERVED slot, or your car will be towed. Parking will be validated at the end of the audition.
