After a sold out production this past summer, Flagstaff Shakespeare Festival and Northern Arizona University’s Sun Entertainment presents a one-night-only remount of one of Shakespeare’s most popular plays: Romeo and Juliet.
Romeo and Juliet is the infamous story of two “star-crossed lovers,” children of two dueling families in Verona. When Romeo meets his Juliet, they will stop at nothing to be together despite the danger it presents. A tale of love, family, grudges, and passion, this romantic classic will have you misty-eyed, remembering what it felt like the first time you fell in love.
The play was directed by renowned Shakespeare director Jim Warren, founding Artistic Director of the American Shakespeare Center, and includes a dynamic, professional company of actors and artists from all over Arizona and the country who will come back together for one night to bring this incredible show to our community once more.
