Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts has announced their 2022/2023 Broadway Concert Series!



Hitting New Heights: Mandy Gonzalez and Javier Muñoz

The Broadway stars of Hamilton and In the Heights join voices to celebrate Broadway’s hottest composers, from Stephen Schwartz to Lin-Manuel Miranda. This performance features songs from Wicked to Hamilton and beyond. Truly a tour-de-force concert event!

Alan Cumming is Not Acting His Age 

Alan Cumming has done it all. He has won a Tony®, hosted the Tonys, and been nominated for an Emmy® for doing so. He made back-to-back films with Stanley Kubrick and the Spice Girls. He has played God, the devil, Hitler, the pope, Hamlet, all the parts in Macbeth, Dionysus, a Smurf (twice) and the EmCee in Cabaret (thrice). And now he’s coming to Scottsdale.

Jessica Vosk  

Described by Broadway World as having a voice “so perfect, so pure,” Jessica Vosk is a celebrated singer and actress known for stirring roles on the musical theatre and concert stage. Vosk’s is best known for her performances as The Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Elphaba in Wicked—which she played on Broadway from 2018 to 2019, Fruma Sarah in Fiddler on the Roof, and Anita in the West Side Story with the San Francisco Symphony.

Seth Rudetsky Concert Series 
Ramin Karimloo with Seth Rudetsky 

Ramin Karimloo is an Olivier and Tony Award® nominee who is currently starring as Nicky Arnstein in the Broadway production of Funny Girl. He made his name in some of the West End’s most enduring productions, most notably Phantom of the Opera and Les Misérables. Karimloo originated the role of the Phantom in Phantom of the Opera sequel Love Never Dies in 2010 before making his Broadway debut in the 2014 revival of Les Misérables. He was nominated for a Tony® for Best Actor in a Musical for his portrayal of Valjean. Over the next couple of years, he performed in the world premiere of The Prince of Broadway, directed by the late Hal Prince, played Che in Evita (Vancouver and Japan) Tom in the U.K. premier of Murder Ballad (London), Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar (Japan) and Anatoly in Chess (Kennedy Center and Japan). Karimloo also originated the role of Gleb Vaganov in the Broadway premiere of Anastasia.

The Seth Rudetsky Broadway Concert Series brings the biggest Broadway stars to the Virginia G. Piper Theater stage for an intimate concert and conversation featuring popular hits of the theatre and candid stories.

Tony® nominee Megan Hilty is a dynamic performer, both on stage and on screen, with critical acclaim for her Broadway debut of Glinda in Wicked, as well as her most-recognized portrayal of Ivy Lynn in NBC’s Smash.
