"... features a good group of actors who do a lovely job balancing the play's heartbreak and humor as their characters share wisecracks and life lessons in the face of hardship....Under Van Rockwell's assured direction, the cast all do a very good job in portraying a group of friends who have known each other for years. Diedra Celeste Miranda is lovely as the frazzled Connie...Jori Mosier is wonderful as the hard-drinking Leona...as Millie, Barbara McBain is a hoot. McBain gets just about every punchline and delivers them all with ease while also getting big laughs from the audience for her efforts. As Rachel, Rachel Brumfield oozes sexual frustration and college-aged angst, and Van Rockwell is bright and down-to-earth as Bobby...."   -Gil Benbrook, Talkin' Broadway (click here to read the complete review)

"...The joy of this well-directed production lies in the crystal-clear performances of its cast and the delightful contrasts in the golden characters of Connie, Leona, and Millie. (Barbara) McBain epitomizes flakiness and delivers some of the play's funniest lines to perfection. _(Diedra Celeste) Miranda adds a touch of elegance to her role as the beleaguered mother and hostess. (Jori) Mosier is exuberant in her portrayal of a brash and fun-loving belle."  - Herbert Paine, Broadway World (click here to read the complete review)
