2020-2021 Season Auditions - Childsplay

Compensation: Pay ($420 per week)

Founded in 1977, Childsplay is a nationally and internationally respected professional theatre company whose chosen audience is children.

Character Breakdown 

School House Rock, Live!  National Tour.  September 2020 to April 2021.  2M/2F strong singing and movement

Rock the Presidents.  Herberger Theater Center and local school tour.  Late Sept 2020 through Feb 2021.  2m/1f strong singing and movement.

Selena Maria Sings.  World Premiere Herberger Theater Center.  Mid-Aug to mid-Oct.  All LatinX cast.  2f-20’s (1 must sing). 1f-30’s/40’s. 1m-20’s (must sing).

TBA rest of the season.  Looking for both singing and non-singing adult actors.

What To Prepare 

Each audition slot is 2 minutes. The actor may fill those two minutes however they choose. 1 monologue, 2 monologues, 1 song and 1 monologue. 1 song. 2 songs. The actor's choice. We will stop you at the 2 minute mark. An accompanist will be provided, as well as speaker hook-ups for recorded accompaniment.
