Childsplay will be holding general season auditions for the 2019/2020 season on Wednesday, April 10th from 4pm – 7pm and Thursday, April 11th from 4pm – 7pm at the Campus for Imagination and Wonder, 900 S Mitchell Drive in Tempe.
Auditions are for non-Equity adult actors only.
Actors should prepare 1 monologue and, optionally, 16 bars of an up-tempo song.
The monologue and song should not exceed 2 minutes in total combined length.
There will be an accompanist available to play your music. An AUX connection will be available for recorded accompaniment.
Note that neither the song nor monologue need to be “appropriate” for theatre for young audiences.

PLEASE NOTE: Childsplay serves families and schools. Rehearsals and performances are held during daytime hours. School tours will include overnight trips outside of the metro Phoenix area.
All of Childsplay's in-house productions will perform at the Herberger Theatre Center.

• THE SNOWY DAY AND OTHER STORIES, Musical. (National Tour) November 4th – December 24th, 2019; January 9th - April 12th, 2020
• ELLA ENCHANTED, Musical. November 19th – December 29th, 2019
• ELEPHANT AND PIGGIE’S “WE ARE IN A PLAY!” Musical. December 30th, 2019 – March 1st, 2020
