"In a period that lasted over fifty years, Simon Wiesenthal brought over 1,000 Nazis to justice. For close to ten years and almost 500 performances, actor and playwright Tom Dugan has been presenting his one man show Wiesenthal, an engaging drama that centers on the Austrian-born man who not only was a Holocaust survivor but who also became known around the world and called "the Jewish James Bond" for his relentless pursuit of Nazi war criminals. Last week, Dugan brought his play to Scottsdale for a one-night performance of this riveting and insightful work...a powerful, poignant and heartbreaking play that provides an insightful look into this famous man and also serves as a warning for current and future generations that what happened seventy years ago could easily happen again. It also has a powerful message about tolerance and the need to continue telling the stories of the past to ensure they and the people who were victims of intolerance aren't forgotten. It is a painful play but is also uplifting and full of hope." -Gil Benbrook, Talkin' Broadway (click here to read the complete review)
