Synopsis
Welcome to Almost, Maine, a town that’s so far north, it’s almost not in the United States – in fact it almost doesn’t exist because Almost’s residents never got around to getting organized. One cold, clear Friday night, in the middle of winter, while the northern lights glow above, the towns people find themselves falling in and out of love in the strangest ways. Love is lost, found and confounded… and life for the people of Almost will never be the same. Quaint, offbeat and quirky
Character Breakdown
2 women, 2 men playing from 4-6 characters each. Will consider casting ages 20-45. Actors should be able to portray a variety of distinguishable characters, in a variety of different moods. Comedic timing, and being able to portray the reality of the moment are vital, even when the moments move from slapstick to subtle, from touchingly real to gentle fantasy.
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.
