Character Breakdown
Adult male and female actors for our 2015-16 season.
Childsplay is a resident professional theatre company for young audiences and families. We perform at the Tempe Center for the Arts, and in schools throughout the valley and Arizona. In addition, each season we send out a production on a National Tour. We rehearse and perform primarily during the daytime. Students and those with other daytime (i.e. 9 to 5) employment usually have difficulty meeting our scheduling needs.
What To Prepare
2 contrasting 1-minute monologues. The monologues do not need to be theatre for young audiences. Please keep the monologues to one minute a piece.
If you wish to be considered for the musicals, please substitute one monologue with 16 bars of a song. There will be no accompanist provided, however there will be a CD player as well as a hookup for digitally recorded accompaniment.
