Dotty Dot! depicts a day in the life of a very bossy little girl and her gang of quirky friends as they venture to put on a play. However, when Dotty gets too bossy and her mother forces her to come inside, will the neighborhood kids be able to work together to save the show? As Dotty learns the true meaning of friendship, kids young and old will celebrate this hilarious new musical.
Dotty Dot! is a new musical geared towards children in grades K-6. The one-act musical is short enough to hold the attention spans of younger audience members, with a warm message about a spunky young girl that lets her bossiness get the best of her, but with an energy that can appeal to all ages.
Dotty Dot! A New Children’s Musical features a book and lyrics by Ashley Laverty & Travis Kendrick, with music and additional lyrics by John Wascavage & Ryan Cavanaugh.
The show is directed by Brelby’s Artistic Director, Shelby Maticic.
