"Pretty Woman: The Musical brings the beloved romantic film comedy from 1990 to the stage with style, charm, and a pop-infused score that proves surprisingly effective in capturing the spirit of its characters. The music, by well-known pop singer Bryan Adams and his songwriting partner Jim Vallance, leans into pop sensibilities from the period while still allowing for emotional storytelling. Anchoring Arizona Broadway Theatre's area premiere production are two terrific leads whose rich, expressive singing voices and undeniable chemistry make the central romance both believable and engaging."   - Gil Benbrook, TalkinBroadway.com (click here to read the complete review)

"Stephen Casey, the director and choreographer of Arizona Broadway Theatre’s production of PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL, understands something essential about adapting a modern fairy tale, especially one rooted in a Rodeo Drive fantasy, for the stage: unless the performers anchor the story in authenticity, the flair of the music and dancing can vanish like a pumpkin carriage after midnight, leaving little substance beneath the sparkle. In this modern Cinderella story, it’s Vivian Ward, portrayed by Sophie Rapiejko, who reminds us that a dream is a wish that your heart can make come true. Rapiejko develops the role with nuance. "   - Herbert Paine, Broadway World (click here to read the complete review)
