Two valley teens head to Broadway to compete in national high school musical theatre awards

Two valley high school students will be headed to New York to compete in the National High School Musical Theatre Awards – known as the Jimmy Awards.

Last night ASU Gammage celebrated it’s 10th anniversary of holding the annual ASU Gammage High School Musical Theatre Awards. Many winners – in many categories; costumes, lighting, vocals, hair/makeup, etc.

The male and female lead winners get to compete with hundreds of other students in the national event.

Max and Nora will head to New York mid-June and spend a week in New York rehearsing and preparing for the big show and competition / The Jimmy Awards on Monday June 24 at Broadway’s Minskoff Theatre.
