Summer Session #1
Hammered: A Thor and Loki Play
June 17-28
Camp Hours: 9am-1pm (M-F)
Performances: Friday, 6/28 at 7pm and Saturday, 6/29 at 2pm
As Thor struggles with the stress of final exams, his brother Loki finds himself under a different sort of pressure. Neither are beneath pranks in the endless competition for their parents’ favor.
Cost: $250
Summer Session #2
Broadway Goes Back to the Future: Musical Review
July 8-19
Camp Hours: 8am-1pm (M-F)
Performances: Friday, 7/19 at 7pm and Saturday, 7/20 at 2pm
Experience Broadway’s greatest songs as we take a trip through time in this musical review of Broadway, past and present, in a trip that is sure to hit 88 MPH! This session is great for kids who love to sing and dance.
Cost: $275
CHOOSE FROM TWO LEARNING TRACKS
ON STAGE: Performance Track (Max per session: 15 students)
Students in this track will get to experience what it is like to put on a full length production, from auditions to performance. They will be expected to memorize lines, create characterizations, and perform in front of a live audience.
BACKSTAGE: Technical Track (Max per session: 5 students)
Students in this track will learn and assist with all aspects “behind the scenes” of a theater production, including: set, costume and props design and construction, lighting design, sound production, stage management & more. They will be assigned backstage roles to perform during performances, as appropriate by age level.
EACH CAMP INCLUDES:
Instruction from Ghostlight Theatre professionals with fingerprint clearance from the AZ Department of Public Safety
A custom camp t-shirt
Two live performances to showcase what they learned to friends and family
A free ticket to each live performance (additional tickets will be available for $15)
