A very special Friend-and-Relation tells Christopher Robin a story of a Christmas Eve very long ago (about last year) when Eeyore, the old gray donkey who lives by himself in the thistle corner of Hundred-Acre Wood, was absolutely miserable. It seems that he lost his tail and Winnie-the-Pooh and Piglet got all of their friends and a search was organized. There is a great deal of fun and excitement, plus delightful songs, in the adventure that follows. Its theme, which concerns caring, sharing and the importance of cultivating friends, makes this a very special and enchanting musical suitable for all ages.

For auditions please bring:

1.) A song that will show off your voice and is appropriate for you and the character you are auditioning for. Please bring sheet music -- accompanist will be provided.

2.) A headshot. It doesn't have to be professional. Just a good photo that looks like you!

3.) An acting/performance resume.

Rehearsals: Approximate rehearsal dates are October 23 through November 30th, Monday through Thursday evenings and Saturdays. Before tech, evening rehearsals are expected to be 5pm - 9pm; tech rehearsals will potentially go until 11pm. We understand that some students may have conflicts where they may miss rehearsals, must arrive late or leave early. However, cast members will not be able to miss rehearsals during tech week or the run of the show.

Performances: December 1-23rd, 2023 at Valley Youth Theatre, with several weekday matinees for schools in addition to the traditional evening and weekend performances.
