"Based on the hilarious hit 1980 movie of the same name, 9 to 5 is a musical comedy set in the early 1980s that focuses on three working women who get revenge on their sexist boss. While it didn't have a long Broadway run, it's a very funny and even uplifting musical with a charming score by Dolly Parton, who was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Song for the film's infectious title tune, and a book by the film's co-screenwriter Patricia Resnick.
