B3 THEATER'S SIXTH FESTIVAL OF SHORTS - May 19-May 27, 2023

For our 6th Festival of Shorts, we are celebrating LGBTQ+ stories and artists.  Going from the super silly antics of a Pythonesque send-up to a serious look at a historical gay man who saved people from the Nazis during World War II, this set of shorts is sure to have something for everyone.

And here are the pieces:

--Sleeping with the Fish—comedy—written by Joe Gulla--directed by Carlin Thomas.  Gay Mafia guys lament killing one of their own.

--Penny-Farthing Polo—comedy—written by Malt Schlitzman--directed by Chris Frank.  A sportscast of the terribly silly sport Penny-Farthing Polo.

--153—drama—written by Steve Martin--directed by Joey Whelan.  The same man visits himself when 18, 45, and 90.  He finds with the passing of time comes peace.

--Angel—drama—written by Bethany Dickens--directed by Victor Arevalo.  A metatheatrical visitation of an Angel to her playwright.

--Pandora’s Pantry—science fiction/drama--written by Dane Futrell—directed by Susan Xu.  A woman who appears to be controlled by a tight regimen of rules has a strange secret.

--A Tragedy of Owls—historical drama—written by John Mabey--directed by Chris Frank.  A gay man looks back on his life of fighting the Nazis and makes an uncompromising choice.

Tickets bought ahead of time are just $19 for adults and $15 for students!
