In partnership with the City of Peoria, who generously provided funding, we are announcing two exciting theater workshops from B3 Theater—for kids and teens!
On January 9th, from noon to 4 PM, we will be offering two different sets of workshops, one for kids 12 and under and one for teens.
For kids 12 and under (but of school age), we’ll be exploring theater in four different ways:
Telling a story
Games: Acting
Theater words and what they mean
Other arts in theater
For teens, the time will be broken up into:
Writing prompts
Acting and voice
Stage Management workshop
Directing workshop
Our program is unique in that it explores storytelling and writing as a major component. Giving every community member a voice is part of our mission.
The workshops will be offered at Peoria Center for the Performing Arts: 10580 N 83rd Dr, Peoria, AZ 85345. Tickets are available at www.b3theater.com.
The four workshops in each tract are being offered together for $25 per participant. If you or your child would like to attend but financial concerns are a problem, please write us at ilanab3productions@gmail.com. Scholarships are available.
In addition, we’ll be performing our First Festival of Shorts for Youth the day before, on Saturday January 8th at 1:00 PM. Tickets for adults are $10 and tickets for 18 and under are $5. Please visit Theater Works’ website to purchase tickets to the live event.
