Applications for assistant director positions for SHEEPDOG and ASSASSINS.
all applications will be stripped of all identifying information and scored anonymously.
If we need to see you for an in-person interview, we will be in touch.
Otherwise, all applicants will receive notification via email once a decision has been made.
Assistant Directors will receive a $150 honorarium at the end of the process upon submitting a brief report on their time with us.

1. Why are you interested in Assistant Directing for Stray Cat?
2. What expectations/hopes would you have as a result of being selected for the position? Like...in an ideal world, what all would transpire during your time with us?
3. What is it about the show (or shows) you are applying for that most excites you?
4. Shows typically rehearse 4 weeknights 6:30pm-10:30pm and weekends for 4 to 8 hour chunks for at least one of the days. Production meetings tend to be held before or after rehearsals on weekends. All of this is subject to change. We would expect you to take part in all production meetings, as many rehearsals as possible, all of tech week, and opening night. Let us know what kind of conflicts you would have with this kind of schedule. (specific show breakdown below)

6. To keep this as blind an application process as possible, please generally describe any previous experience you have on the production side of the table. We ask you not to submit a resume - simply a general summary of ‘directed twice, assisted with props once, etc.
