Every hero has an origin story. Before Muhammad Ali became one of the world’s greatest boxers and civil rights advocates, he was Cassius Clay. Step into the ring with 12-year old Cassius as he navigates friendship, family and learning to fight for himself and his community. Told with surprising humor and heart, this play takes you inside Jim Crow-era Louisville to see the beginnings of an American hero.
This is performance is brought to you by Childsplay and Black Theatre Troupe, and will take place at BTT's beautiful home in Phoenix! All seats are general admission.
