Spamalot: School Edition will be an all youth cast, with some of the leading characters being paired with an adult counterpart who will mentor the youth actor throughout the entire process of the rehearsals and shows and will perform a couple of shows.

VIDEO AUDITIONS: Video auditions must be completed and sent in by no later than 12pm on Saturday, May 12th. Videos must include actors reading one or two of the sides posted in Casting Manager and a 32 bar cutting of a music theatre style piece that best fits your vocal range. If you do not have a 32 bar cutting prepared, you may sing one of the attached cuttings posted in Casting Manager. If you would like to attach a video of dance, you may do that as well.
Synopsis
Spamalot: School Edition tells the legendary tale of King Arthur’s quest to find the Holy Grail. Inspired by the classic comedy film, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, the musical also diverts a bit from more traditional versions of the legend. Instead, Spamalot features shenanigans including a line of beautiful dancing girls, flatulent Frenchmen, and killer rabbits. Outside, there is plague with a 50% chance of pestilence and famine. Throughout the show, Arthur, traveling with his servant Patsy, recruits several knights to accompany him on his quest, including Sir Bedevere, Sir Robin, Sir Lancelot, and Sir Galahad. Besides the rabbits and farting Frenchman, they meet such characters as the Lady of the Lake, Prince Herbert, Tim the Enchanter, Not Dead Fred, the Black Knight, and the Knights who say Ni.
