DST is holding auditions for the 1st show in their Actor's Cafe for the 2015-2016 season.
Auditions are Sunday July 12th at 7:00pm.

September 4th- October 25th 2015
Friday & Saturdays 7:30pm
Sundays at 2:00pm
Rehearsals begin August 3rd and run Mon-Thu
7pm-10pm.

This powerful play written by John Steinbeck tells the story of George Milton and Lennie Small, two displaced migrant ranch workers, who move from place to place in search of new job opportunities during the Great Depression in California, United States.

Casting for:
MALES:
George: 25-40, smaller of the two leads; the brains of the duo
Lennie: 25-40, physically imposing but child-like
Candy: 60-ish, kindly and weathered by life
The Boss: 40-50, stock and authoritative
Curley: early 20s, on the short side but muscular
Slim: 30-50, tall, thin; gentle and thoughtful
Carlson: 40s, heavy-set and forceful
Whit: 20-30, street-smart wise
Crooks: 30-50, African-American; bad back and worn by work
FEMALE:
Curley's Wife: early 20s and attractive; flirtatious
ANIMALS:
We are looking for an older, tame sheepdog (or dog of that type) that would work well for 1 scene. Dog would need to be available to come to some (not all) rehearsals to get familiar with cast and crew and available for entire run of show.
