Space 55 & Ronin Theatre Collaborative Present 3rd Annual MIDNIGHT OIL
A 24-Hour Theatre Project + 48-Hour Film Challenge
Space 55 and Ronin Theatre Collaborative present the 3rd Annual MIDNIGHT OIL, a collaborative fundraiser uniting a 24-Hour Theatre Project and a 48-Hour Film Challenge. The event invites actors and filmmakers to create original work under tight deadlines, culminating in a public showcase on March 21 at Metropolitan Arts Institute in downtown Phoenix.
Actors are sought for the 24-hour theatre portion and must be available all day Saturday, March 21 for a morning kickoff, rehearsals and technical run during the day, and an evening performance of newly written 10-minute plays.
Filmmakers (individuals or crews) will receive prompts on Friday, March 13, complete their films within 48 hours, and submit the evening of Sunday, March 15. Please submit registration forms (below) by Friday, February 27.
All completed films and theatre pieces will be presented Saturday, March 21 at 7:00 PM at Metropolitan Arts Institute.
